I was thinking the same thing. If you think about it, he already knows the Vikings playbook (its almost the exact same offense as the Packers had), so he really doesn't need camp to familiarize himself with it. He could very well decide in 3 weeks to unretire, and the Vikes might be begging him by then to come play for them (If Rosenfells and Jackson are sucking)!

Feh. I'm not buying this for a second.

In fact I'm going to come right out and GUARANTEE all Bretney really wants is to avoid camp altogether. As soon as camp ends he'll suddenly have a change of heart. Again.  Indifferent

he's just trying to see how many times he can retire and unretire in one season.  Its easy to do it over multiple seasons...

Are you serious?  Please tell me you're kidding...

The guy retired months ago - why is it news now that he's still retired?

i think he said that he will continue to keep throwing.

run that through the farve translator equals, i am waiting for these hot ass, too much work training camps to end so that i can just roll out my bed on gameday to suit up to start.

unfortunately you will see another unretire statement by farve at some point this season.

What a douche.  He could have went out a champion , a walking God in Greenbay.  Instead he's kinda a laughing stock.  I'm Glad Dan had the sense to know when it was over.

No, I'm serious.  It bothered me with the Packers, because I felt like he was pulling their chain season after season.

But now, he's sort of the gypsy QB and no team is depending on him -- I think it's kind of funny.  He's become a character.  I'd love to see him go to the Vikings and have to play the Packers twice.  ...tell me you wouldn't want to watch that game.

Something tells me that, if that were to happen, I wouldn't have a choice.  It would be on every channel and the leading story on SportsCenter both the week before AND the week after the game.

This just in, the sky is STILL blue...  Film at 11:00...
