I hope he gets traded to another team where #85 is either taken or retired.

Good stuff.

I like 85.  He's the one "diva" WR where I enjoy his antics.  I think he makes the game more fun and isn't a huge negative distraction.

I thought it was Chad Ochocinco.

Funny thing is, Ocho Cinco isn't even Spanish for 85.  That would be Ochenta y Cinco

I refuse to call him "Ochocinco". Chad Johnson he is. I could start calling Joe Robbie "Tyco Field" or whatever, too.

Mark Simeoneau has kicked EPs for the Eagles before.  He missed one and made one.

I like Chad as well, except when he gets too deep into the "pissed off and hurt" side of his persona. He's quality entertainment value, and the NFL should re-think their TD celebration rules to encourage more of that sort of fun.

On a personal note... I kicked one extra point as a little kid in pop warner football... Our regular kicker tripped on the bleachers going to get a soda and sprained his ankle, so I got to kick for one game as well as play my normal LB position. We only scored one TD that day...we weren't very good, but I did sneak the XP over the bottom right corner of the uprights, so I'm 1 for 1 all-time on kick attempts.

Did you do straight on or soccer style?

I am a former high school kicker who was straight-on.

Straight up...I didn't practice it enough (ever) to develop any other style. Wink

Ocho Cinco is spanish for "Eight Five" - which is how I've heard football players call each other in the past.  Like "nice catch, eight five" or "hey ref, six-three is holding me!"

Just sayin', i've heard it before...

Maybe because Lewis is smarter than Managini.

Last year when the kicker for the Jets got injured (I think it was against the 'fins) the Jets had to go for 2 b/c they had no one  to kick the extra point (the punter was the holder).

The back up kicker for the Bengals has in game practice in both kicking an XP and a kickoff.
