There are a couple of teams out there that I would predict to be vastly improved from last year. The Chiefs are one of them.

Cassel "just" sprained his MCL. He'll be back in 2-4 weeks.
In other words, he could be ready for the season opener against Baltimore - although they might want to just chalk that game up as an "L" and spare Cassel. Oakland is up the following week and that seems like a good game to toss Cassel back in.
Agreed. I would not put Cassel in there against Baltimore. That defense has been known to chew up QB's and spit 'em out.

Right. We all know this. The point is that at least the Broncos have a starter, albeit horrible in Orton, 3 draft picks to go with it, while the 9ers have a number one overall draft pick that raped them for millions and all the have to show for it is the splinters in his ass from riding the pine and pocket lint.
Three draft picks and NO GUARANTEE that they will find a franchise QB like Jay Cutler. And now their star receiver wants out as well. Fine mess Josh Daniels has gotten himself into, alienating the core players on his team.
