Only about an hour way from the first meaningful football game since Feb.

Thoughts on the game?

Who you rooting for?

I am pulling for the Titans.  I also have fantasy implications, so I'm pulling for lots of Titan FGs.  Woot!

Although, I'm really just happy to have 2 good teams playing a meaningful game.  I am so ready for this.

Nice shank, Biron-ass........ Roll Eyes

I swear that this Pitt team has a horseshoe up their ass because they are simply not that good, especially offensively.

I went heavy on both Pitt-D and Balt-D in FF drafts this season, plus I have Santonio active tonight on a couple of squads...so I'm mostly cheering for Steelers tonight.

You all know I am a big fan of KILLER defense. Pittsburg has a Killer defense. They don't just try to beat people, they physically try to hurt you and usually suceed. If Miami isn't going to the dance , then I'd like to see Pittsburg represent the AFC again.

Tennessee had absolutely no pressure unless they brought the house.

Their 4 man rush was a joke.

Tennesee totally pissed that game away.  2 turnovers one of them in the redzone, missed and blocked field goal.

The Steelers manage to pull their bullshit at the last second again.  Boring.

Meaningful football, yeah, but what a sloppy game. Illegal formation, illegal shift, bad snaps, bad kicks, o-linemen completely missing their assignments, invalid "fair catch" waves, punts and kicks fielded inside the 10 AND FAIR CAUGHT... sheesh... never any question this was a week 1 game.

If I were a Steelers fan, I'd be very worried about the running game. Parker's a good speed back, but their O line just doesn't get any push. They have some technical skills and can create some good holes and cut-back lanes at times, but they're just not getting any push... and Parker just isn't a power back capable of getting a couple of yards up the gut. And neither is Mewelde Moore.

Mendenhaal (?) will be fine filling that role once he learns to not run into Big Ben when his number is called.

Oh, yeah, I forgot that particular sign of the game being sloppy; Rashard Mendelhall (had to look it up) running going the wrong way around Roethlisberger and slamming right into him. Of course, Roethlisberger has like 20 pounds on him...

Does anyone know the extent of Polumalu's injury?  The Pittsburgh defense looked vulnerable without him last night.

And the Madden Curse continues.  If I was Larry Fitzgerald, I'd be nervous...... VERY nervous.

Rashard Mendelhall (had to look it up)

Gotta smile at that...you looked it up, noted that you looked it up, and still spelled it wrong<g>

It's "Mendenhall." Grin
