Phillip Merling

HM:  JT for getting his first official sack since rejoining the team, and Channing Crowder for playing with some pop.

I think you are being overly harsh.   Fields had an outstanding game.  Quite possibly the Dolphins MVP.

Im not sure anybody would want to be player of the game after todays performance.
I was VERY disappointed in the effort by the offense.
 defense played OK .
Oh well at least we will be at the bottom of the east with somebody after tonights game.
Remember we started out with a loss last year.

I'm giving it to Merling but halfheartedly.  I don't think anyone deserves it after today.  If this is the way the offense is going to be, stock up on antacids.

I wasn't wanting to start a whole thread over this, but I have to make mention of Camarillo.  I noticed that there was also an article on the Dolphins website in relation to his play on Sunday.

1st - I am sooo impressed at the way he has come off of his injury.  Holy crap did that exceed my expectation.

2nd - He is a very good run blocker.  I noticed him making key blocks several times.  In fact, if Ricky had just taken a cut outside of Camarillo, I think he could have taken one of those runs the distance.

3rd - They guy just knows how to make a catch.  We all know the one I am talking about, but I can't think of a time the ball came his way and he messed up.

4th - Considering the knee injury, he came all the way down the field and made the tackle on whoever it was the picked up the 1st Fasano fumble.  Great tackle too!  Looked like Ronnie may have made the tackle anyway, but I am not fully convinced that he didn't save a TD on that play.

Anyway, he has become one of my favorite players on the team!
