I'll be in NYC for a week to see the Jets/Fins.  I'm going to get tickets with Short Michelle, Janet, Igor, and and some other NYC fans.   Anyone else in the area want to get in on it?  We should have a pretty big group.

Also, I'll be up there for a week afterward doing other stuff.  If you want to get a beer sometime during the week, let me know.

I would consider going to this game.  Tony, if you and Philly get tickets, let me know.  I'm seriously considering it...

Getting tickets shouldn't be too hard.  Game is NOT sold out.

Nor is there season opener against the Patriots.  Jets fans are worried about blackouts.

I'm more worried about sitting by myself in a Dolphins jersey at a Jets' home game than being able to buy tickets.

Jets fans don't start crap like Eagles, Bills, or Raiders fans.  They might talk a lot of nasty shit to you but they're not likely to throw a punch or do something stupid.

I can't believe tix aren't sold out cuz it's always the first game to sell out. I've always just known friends with tix or I buy them in the parking lot.  If a bunch of yous are comng up then obv it will be harder so I guess we have to get a count first

Most years they all sell out at about the exact same time.  Right now if you want Jet season tickets they are avaiable as are tickets to all 8 games on a single game basis.

Thiis is True. Lots on Names. Especially when you go to take a leak.  But The Eagles Fans are the lowest of the low. Bills fans also just gave me alot of Lip. Never been to California so I don't know shit about the Raiders. But they look Kooky as hell.

I was at the Dolphins-Raiders playoff game in 2000 when the Raiders won 27-0.  My friends told me not to wear my Jason Taylor jersey because I might get my ass kicked.  Luckily I took their advice.  I saw a guy with a Zach Thomas jersey go into one of those port-a-potties coming out of the stadium, and a bunch of silver and black clad fans all painted up and wearing spiked shouder pads showed up, started pounding and kicking the port-a-potty and tipped it on its side.  I will not say what that Dolphins fan looked like when he came out.

Situation can also vary greatly depending on the outcome of the game.  If the home team wins visting fans aren't as likely to get beat up than if the home team loses.  Plus the intensity of the rivalary matters.  Fins fans would get less crap at a Greenbay game than a Vikings fan.

Rivals + Idiots + Liquor = Fighting

Add more of any of these things and you're likely to see an increase.  Some people get drunk and are loud assholes and shouldn't be allowed anywhere near alcohol.
