A number of the Dolphins fan sites have been invited to attend a conference call with new Dolphins CEO, Michael Dee, this afternoon at 12:45 ET. I have a few questions prepped and ready (see below), but would love your feedback as well. Anything you want to learn about the business side of the Phins? Post your questions here, and if they pass muster, I'll try to get Mike to answer them.

Questions currently under consideration...

>> With 8 years of extreme success as the Chief Operating Officer of the Red Sox, what differences have you seen so far between baseball and football in regards to managing the business side of a franchise since your arrival in Miami?

>> What tangible effects do you see celebrity co-owners/limited partners like Jimmy Buffett, Gloria Estefan, Marc Antony and the Williams sisters having on the Dolphins franchise?

>> If I promise to buy season tickets every year for the rest of my life, will you promise to never play the T-Pain version of the Miami Dolphins fight song again?

Would you like a tie up with a very poor amateur football team in the UK who are ranked 3rd in the country despite having very little resources?

Can I have a job please?

I might think of a sensible one later....

The conference call went very well...Mike Dee brought his VP of Marketing, Adam Someoneoranother along for the ride as well.  I was 5th in line for the questions, and by the time it got to me, all three of my serious questions had been asked and answered already, so I hit him with the T-Pain fight song question, revising it so it was actually...

"If I promise to buy season tickets every year for the rest of my life, and my children and children's children do the same, will you promise to never play the T-Pain version of the Miami Dolphins fight song again?"

He got a good laugh out of it, and showed he had a good sense of humor as well, by responding with "It depends, how many kids do you have?"

I am asking for the taped copy of the conference call for use on an upcoming TDMMC Saturday Night!! show...stay tuned!

I made a bet with a coworker that Chad Pennington would throw more 20 yard or long passes this season than the team would have co-owners at the end of the season.  Do I have any chance of my winning that bet or should I pay him now?
