Seriously, I never could understand what all the hoopla was about with Quinn.  All the guy has done is come out and stink it up on the field, so much so that the Browns may switch back to Derek Anderson.  Personally, I don't blame them.  Quinn sucks.

I'll be the first person to say that Quinn's accuracy in their last game was completely non-existent. I'm pretty sure that most of that is on Quinn as well. I will say one thing on Quinn's behalf...there doesn't exist in the NFL a more non-catching, non-route running WR corps than the one that Quinn gets to work with...and Jamal Lewis is his RB support, which scares no one at all.

I can't agree with this any more. But Brady Quinn does blow goats.

Braylon Edwards is still a skilled receiver.

However, he can not be solely responsible for Brady Quinn.

Brady Quinn sucks.

Braylon Edwards is very skilled alright...at dropping passes that hit him right on the numbers.

I also think Brady Quinn sucks and I've said so since the beginning.  I have never thought he had a tight release and he lobs those flounders that work in college, but not in the NFL.

where are all the Quinn is god people? i believe these people even said he is a Franchise QB that is going to be a pro bowler, hall of fame type qb.

I believe i was one of the few people that didn't see that at the time of the draft, and i have been very consistent with my views on quinn.

I'll wait a year before saying he blows outright. First full season as a starter, new coach, and like Sunstroke said, he's on the Browns. Not to mention it's only 2 games into the season.

I also wonder if the Browns had been 2-0 and Quinn had been blowing it up, if the anti-Quinn people would have started a thread recognizing him.

I would hope that they (I) would.  I am not going to say a guy sucks if he plays well, just so I can be right.

Being a Quinn hater, I would not.  If he was blowing up, why would I start a "wow this guy is awesome" thread about a guy I hate?  Just not me.  I wouldn't start a "he sucks" thread if he was blowing up either, though.

Its called opinion.

There were dozens of people up here giving Quinn a hearty reacharound in the days leading up to the draft, and I was at the front of the line with hand lotion at the ready. I can admit this because I have a long enough track record with accurate QB picks (see John Beck, Jamarcus Russell, Alex Smith, Joe Flacco and Mark Sanchez for perspective) that I don't mind admitting when I'm wrong on one. Part of me still thinks that Cleveland is just cursed, and that he'll do better once he gets the hell out of there, but he definitely hasn't continued the rising line of development that I expected from him.

That said, Brady Quinn is currently 24 years old, which is two years younger than John Beck was at the time we drafted him. Irrelevant comparison used only to point out that he's young enough to still think there is an opportunity for Quinn to develop further.

If he can just get out of Cleveland...

It's not just a Cleveland thing.  As some people have already stated he's just not that accurate a passer.  The highlights for when we was set to draft proved it.  ND receivers really helped him out.  Granted, getting out of Cleveland would be a step in the right direction.
