Bill Fucking Parcells! I know it looks like the sky is falling, and Jerkoffs like JTex, Hoodie and Bronco think they are having a field day, but everyone needs to look at the Big Picture.

We all knew the Dolphins had a tough schedule this Year. No way they could find all the pieces in just 2 drafts.  An important step in building a team is not only choosing the right players, but seeing who doesn't fit is important as well.  Now we have a chance to evaluate Chad Henne and unless Ginn Picks it up.........we know what we need to do next season.

One thing about this admin that stands out from the past is that They do not hold on to shit. You don't produce you get shown the exit to the Turnpike North. This season will be a tough one, but it will also be an important one. Don't think Bill ain't watching and writing down who is naughty and nice.

Things will improve , I'm sure of it. I really like the New Owner and what he has done for the Team. Bill Parcells has a piece of the Team and he is not going to let it go down the shitter. Lots of great football left folks. Just have some faith.

Here's a question.   Seeing as a thread about trading Ted Ginn has been started, do you think if he doesn't produce, Parcells may try to get something for him before the trade deadline?

Also, if you check the Anti Fins section, there's a thread started by EThurst about the new ownership.  Do you think that this entertainment stuff has really caused the team to struggle, and if so, do you think Parcells will bolt?

We lost three games to three very good teams.  It isn't like no one predicted this. Hell, I even started a thread about it a few weeks ago. Outside of loosing Penny, we are pretty much still on pace to have the season for which many had predicted ... somewhere around 8-8 ... give or take one.

Agreed, Fans are mad because of the High expectations from last season.  While it would be great to start off 3-0  either way,  even if the fins started off 3-0 most likeley could lose 3 game or so.  You never know how these events are going to play out.  I know i said at best fins were going on pace for a 10 - 6 season - worst  8-8.

More like 4-12 at best with the rookie under center now. And thats being generous.

The sky is falling, the sky is falling. Sure it feels bad right now but this wasn't unexpected.

Parcells has done a fantastic job turning this team around, I figure he'll stay one maybe two more years.  The O-Line and D-Line are performing.  We need a #1 receiver and an improved defensive secondary.  Hopefully, Henne will improve throughout the rest of the year.

Exactly. We had an unexpected good year last year.  I think there are a ton of bright spots and Played really well against the colts.

To answer your question Tommy, I'm not a Cap expert but i'm quessing thats what is holding Ginn here.  if we got rid of him who do we have to take his place? I think next year he will be gone if he doesn't pick it up, and thats another important step in the right direction. As far as the ownership goes......wasn't Bill parcells given a piece of the ownership of the Dolphins to stay on?  Ross ain't no dummy and he's making bill a minority owner.  Either way I don't see parcells going anywhere. Too much work left to do.

As bummed as I am about the Dolphins 0-3 start its not that bad in big scheme of things is my only point.  We still have great men making the descisions , the boat will right itself. I have faith in Bill Parcells.

Checking my "give a fuck-o" meter on how much D_B and Jtex's opinion about the Dolphins means to me...hold please...

Yep, just as I thought.  It ranks right up there with how much I care about Brad and Angelina.

The only thing shocking to me about Miami's 0-3 start is that people are shocked that Miami has started 0-3.  Miami's favorable scheduled afforded them a record last year that wasn't quite up to par with other teams that were 11-5 (please reference round 1 of the playoffs).  Miami's 1-15 season the year before wasn't quite the train wreck that people would have made it out to sound.

Miami was truly a .500 (ish) team last year and they will be a .500(ish) team again this year.  You simply don't make the boneheaded moves that this front office has made with drafts and player acquisitions and turn things around that quickly.

I am fairly excited to see what Miami has in Henne.  I am equally as excited that they are 0-3 and didn't get blown out of any of those games.  They could just as easily wound up 2-1.  Atlanta, Indy and San Diego is a tough road to start the season.

I think the team is heading in the right direction.  Could be worse, our quarterback could be Kyle Orton.  At the end of the day I would rather have Pennington throwing left handed than ever having to root for a team stuck with Orton.

Our 3 opponents thus far are a combined 7-2, with those two losses coming against the Patriots and Ravens.

I agree with you, we're an average team this year and not much different from what we were last year. Injury luck (and, let's face it, turnover luck) and a weak schedule resulted in lots of wins. This year, the schedule is a lot tougher and the luck hasn't been great thus far.

I'm still excited about the Dolphins. Excited about the upcoming games.

I just hope you care more about the idiot play calling and the fact that our secondary can't stop an old man in a wheelchair.

You're right, last year's team was not as good as their record showed.  This year's team is probably gonna be better than their record shows.  But, the coaching staff still needs to be held accountable.

I'm actually going to say this is unfair bashing of me and Denver and Hoodie. First of all I'm much better at antagonizing than both of them combined, and secondly, I didn't even say anything in this thread and i'm already "behind the 8 ball"!

Instead of directing your anger at me, do what someone did on the Anti-Fins section and direct your anger at Team management (Parcells) and how he is living off his reputation and actually not building a team that can win in today's NFL. This is definitely more important than my Fuck 'O Meter, which is actually off the charts right now for me.

That statement is very questionable.  I'd say that there are a few people who are better at antagonizing on this board, one of which you named in your post I'm quoting.

Change the word "antagonize" to "rant" and then it's a true statement.
