In elementary school, my favorite class was this thing called the gifted program.  We got to do these logic puzzles that were sort of like the game "Clue".  They'd give you a few facts and then you had to decipher from there who killed who, where, and with what....  Here is an example, although this one looks considerably harder than the ones I used to do as a kid: http://www.braingle.com/brainteasers/41875/murder-at-brainteaser-mansion-3.html

In middle school, I took a class called rocketry, where the only academic part of it was writing a report on something related to space, and the rest was building and launching model rockets with the class.  That was awesome, and I'm surprised that the school took on the liability.

In high school, my favorite class was Physics.

When I was in community college, I took an awesome class called "Drug Education".  The teacher was really cool and it wasn't a "drugs are bad" course.  Instead, it was just honest talk about drugs and what they do, how they work, their history, etc.  His brother, then a teacher as well, was a heroin addict who came in and told some pretty wicked stories.

And finally, at university, I think my favorite class was Statistics.

History was my favorite class. It didn't matter what level I was in school.

We didn't have any "gifted" programs when I was in elementary school. I was bored to tears for 1st and 2nd grade, jumped over 3rd to 4th, where I felt like an outcast.

My favorite classes at any level were those for English or creative writing. I used to really like physical science class as a kid, but that interest went away after a while.

I actually hated school until I entered college.  Each degree I had one class that I enjoyed more than any other.

B.A. in English my favorite class, hands down, was African American Literature, 1930-1970.  It was one of the last courses I took, a high 300.

Communication B.S. - Nonverbal Communication.

BSRN - Philosophy and Theories of Nursing.

MSN - Trauma, Toxicologic, and Environmental Emergencies.

Logic was my favorite class, but it probably had most to do with the professor.

i did a lot of gifted program stuff when i was younger, all of it was great.  like dave said, puzzles, rockets, robotics, awesome field trips, etc.  lots and lots of science and technology.

as far as regular schooling went, history, physics, chemistry, and anything to do with space/astronomy/astrophysics/etc.

I was going to be embarrassed to admit I liked physics.

Jr high - Shop class,It wasn't really woodshop,We made rubber fishing lures, did things with plastics,CO2 cars, did some drafting, and of course made things out of wood...

High school - Power technology,it was supposed to be small engine repair with a fancy name, but the class was more like Applied physics/Shop class...The school was phasing put shop classes, for more computer, audio, visual type classes....So they were playing with the format,We did a week on Small engine repair, but made windmills,Mousetrap vehicles,C02 cars again (I had a little something to do with that),Estes rockets,Water ball rockets...Environmental science (Solar panels and such) I took physics, and physics 2 because of power tech.

Runner up in high school Electricity

Always loved history and writing, as well as any language classes.  Loved science classes, too, until the heavy math started rolling in.  I didn't become a math guy until college (I was always good at it, I just didn't enjoy it).  To this day, though, I love history.  Give me a history book, and I will be entertained.
