That's NOT a "hit" - I've never even heard of that song...

Because you're either young, or don't really listen to hip-hop. We even played it in band at football games.
ETA: Also might be more of a West Coast thing? But Baby Got Back wasn't the first time that Sir-Mix-A-Lot popped up.

WTF does my high school have to do with Sir Mix A Lot.  Baby Got Back is STILL played in the clubs now, and that other random song is some crap I've never heard.

I love hip hop and I do not consider that song a "hit".  I guess it depends on your definition of a "hit".  Top 100?  Top 40?  Top 10?

Even I know the song. My friends use to rock it going down the road on the weekends.

Exactly. I remember booming bass and "cruising" down the street to that song.

How dare you not have heard every song that ever got played on the radio.

You, sir, disgust me...

Red Rider:  Lunatic Fringe

To be fair, Tom Cochrane was the lead singer of Red Rider and he did okay for himself as a solo artist.  Does that qualify as "one hit?"  Probably...but just sayin'.

I love, love, love the Outfield's "Your Love."

"Just because you're right doesn't mean I'm wrong..."

GREAT song.

Also Naked Eyes "Promises, Promises."

AND...

Heavy D and the Boyz..."Now That We Found Love."  Yah...

Not sure if you are still referring to one hit wonders, but these three songs are definitely not.

Also Naked Eyes "Promises, Promises."

I love "Always Something There To Remind Me"

Heavy D and the Boyz..."Now That We Found Love."  Yah...

"Got Me Waitin" was another hit song of his.

reminded me of another one: "Good Vibrations" by Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch

He had another hit called "Wildside"

I've had Posse on Broadway stuck in my head all day.

Also, Sir-Mix-Alot did "My Hooptie". Surely you've heard of that.

What makes a hit?  A song that did not reach the top 40 does not constitute a hit to me.

Not sure if you are still referring to one hit wonders, but these three songs are definitely not.

"Got Me Waitin" was another hit song of his.

He had another hit called "Wildside"

Never heard of these.
