Genius,absaloutly genius.....Dodgers Pitcher Vincent Padilla Shoots himself in the leg....(Yeah there's lots of Plaxico Burress jokes here...)

Apparently his target practice instructor shot him in the leg with the gun after it jammed and the instructor was trying to fix it, not realizing there was a bullet in the chamber. 

No Plaxico jokes here.  Especially because the incident occurred in Nicaragua where gun use runs rampant in certain areas.
