Now, im a firm believer that their is no such thing as RUTS in the NFL. Those guys are paid professionals, but this is way out of hand. I've met Byars on several occasion he dosen't come off as a guy who has a malicious bone in his body. This however is very disturbing especially on the high school level. Hope byars comes to his senses and apologizes to the head coach of park vista.

Big big difference here in the situations. Bill Belichick coaches grown men who are professionals. There are men on the other side of the ball who are PAID to stop the offense.

This is high school ball. Let up a bit dude

America's team

To me there is a big difference in scoring late against a team that just dropped 35 on you, like they did here, then a team punching in a touchdown against a team they are beating 60-0.

Keith Byars knows how to get under people's skin.  He'll go after you in a subtle way rather than being open and honest.

When Jimmy Johnson cut him from the Dolphins, his words were "I'm free at last, thank God Almighty I'm free at last".  In other words, he quoted and compared himself to a slain national hero who endured racism and wrongful incarceration.

Why did he get cut from the Dolphins?  He was upset about his move from fullback to tight end, and acted like a spoiled brat because he didn't catch a pass in the Jets game ending his streak of consecutive games while catching at least one pass.  He has always had an inflated ego ever since he was coddled at Ohio State and labeled as the second coming of Archie Griffin.

Not when there are only 17 seconds left in the game.  Kneel on the ball, man!

Byars should have let up at the end, but only because running those plays wasn't worth the risk of an unnecessary injury. I don't think he need concern himself with the other team's feelings.

Bill Belichick coaches in a league of adult professional men who are paid millions of dollars a year.  Byars runs up the score against 14 year-olds.  Huge fucking difference.
