I'm tired of hearing this stuff about 2010, Lebron and Wade. Who cares?

You would think that they are the third coming of Christ with Obama being the first. They are about as overrated as a Will Smith rap record.

This is what pisses me off about Dwayne Wade. Two years ago, he shut it down when the Heat was in the midst of a bad season. I don't care who you are, you ride it out with your team. The Heat sent a message that Wade was above the team.

After Shula, Marino, Wayne H, Joe Robbie, Chris Everett, The Williams Sisters and Rick Barry (who was a better college player and scorer than Wade and won an NBA Championship), how did he become a South Florida icon so fast?

During the 1-15 season Jason Taylor had a foot tissue injury that hurt like hell when he walked. He didn't shut it down. He played those games and gave it his all. He didn't say "Gee, we're 1-7. I think I will shut it down."

Marino never threw in the towel. Neither did Alonzo Mourning who loved the game so much until he was willing to risk his life. But Wade goes to the Olympics then when the season tanks, claims that his knee is not right and gets shelved. To me he did the same thing as Shaq.

When LeBron James stops taking three steps to the basket every time he puts the ball on the floor then I will consider him with the all-time greats. Its funny that when he plays real teams that hit his ass, he struggles.

And the Shaq thing is not working in Cleveland. Who's got the over-under that before the All-Star game, Shaq starts taking shots at LeBron because LeBron has the bigger entourage?

So who gives a damn where these guys go or what team they end up on? Maybe the NBA will go back to playing real basketball that involves all five men on the court (you know, like the Celtics used to do?) and stop all this damn entertainment.

So who cares where they go? If the Knicks want both of them, let them sign with the Knicks.

Um, I do.  Dwyane Wade's a 6'4" guard averaging 5 boards and a block per game.  He's not just a scorer.  LeBron is a guy who could play the point, the off-guard, small forward, and power forward position and excel.  They may be overhyped, but they are legitimately great players.

I've seen many great players be "shut down" by their teams, be it in hopes of getting more ping pong balls during the draft lottery or to avoid future injury.  After San Antonio shelved David Robinson in 1996-97, they only landed Tim Duncan.  Sadly, it's the way things go in the NBA.  If you're losing, you tank in hopes of getting that # 1 overall pick.  I don't hold it against players so much as against the lottery system.

Don't even try to compare asshole pretty-boy Jason Taylor to D-Wade. Please, dude. Jason Taylor skipped TOWN ENTIRELY after going 1-15 (he didn't want to work hard to "rebuild" so he had a little pissing match with Bill Parcells and the tuna won). Then, ONLY AFTER the Dolphins went 11-5 did Taylor want to come back for the accolades.

And last time I checked, Jason Taylor led the Dolphins in whining and GQ covers, not championships like D-Wade has brought to Miami.

I think you're getting a little too carried away with your conspiracy theory stuff.

P.S. Lots of people forget that Alonzo Morning really screwed the Heat in order to go play for the Nets 1 year - including you.
