The Saints and Colts will both lose in week 12.

You heard it here first.

The Patriots can and will hang with Brees and the boys I expect it to be a nailbiter where the team with the ball last wins.

Saints 38
Patriots 41

The Colts travel to Houston to face the teams that ALWAYS plays them tough.  The same team who, three weeks earlier, missed a 42-yard field goal with time expiring that would have tied the game in THEIR HOUSE.

Colts 20
Texans 27

I don't think the Saints one is very Bold at all...I thought I saw where they were out of DB's last game 4 DB's backs hurt during the last game...They were using their 2 or thrid Safety to play Corner...Against Welker, and Moss, with Dinged up Defensive backs...Ohhh hell that could get ug-ly..

I think the Texans are 1-14 lifetime vs. The Colts. That's a tough stat to overcome. They "almost" won last week at home against Tennessee, too.

They lose far too many "almost" games (like that game where they almost won because of a missed FG, and the other game where they missed because of a missed FG, and the Sage Rosenfels imploding game from last year, and etc..etc..etc...)

Good prediction Brian.  I just hope it comes through so the 72 Dolphins and myself can pop some corks.

Vegas doesn't disagree all that much with your assessment. Saints are only 2 point favorites while the Colts are 3.5 point favorites against the Texans. Those are some pretty small spreads for undefeated teams...

I think the Saints have a much better chance of getting beat than Indy does...and that's how I see it happening. Saints take their first loss this week, Peyton and the Colts remain unblemished.

I'm cheering for the Saints this week, setting up a HUGE Dolphins/Patsies game for next week.

Man, Dolphin fans have more confidence in my team than I do.

The Pats D has been awful. They couldn't stop Manning, I don't think they have a hope of stopping the Saints offense either.

The Pats have been unable to stop #1 receivers, tight ends and running backs (in the passing game).

That's Colston, Shockey and Reggie Bush / Pierre Thomas. The latter two have decent stats receiving, but aren't really much of a threat.

Should be a good game, but I'd be more comfortable predicting a Saints win if they'd actually played a top team. Their most impressive wins are against the 6-5 Giants and 6-4 Eagles. More to the point, neither of these teams (nor any of the Saints' other opponents thus far) have boasted a great offense.

But their offense can stay with the Saints.

^^ exactly.  They don't need to stop them, they just need to outscore them.  The best defense is a good offense.  This was how the Patriots of 2007 won.  This is how the Rams of 1999 won.  It will be a shootout Monday night.

Why? So the Saints don't go undefeated?

Screw the "undefeated regular season record", its already been matched by another team once already.

I'd rather the Saints win this game to help the CURRENT Fins team out, as far as standings go.

first of all, my hatred of all new england teams comes first. second, they did not match anything, the record was never broken, as the pats did not win the super bowl. therefore they did not go undefeated. the record still stands. an undefeated deason consists of a team actually going undefeated. that includes the super bowl.the pats did not.
