Mark Stoops, kid brother of Mike and Bob Stoops.

This guy used to coach DB's at the University of Miami and put Sean Taylor, Phillip Buchannon, Kelly Jennings, Ed Reed, Antrel Rolle and Brandon Merriweather in the NFL.  He's come out with some bad ass defenses everywhere he's gone, most notably as the defensive coordinator for the Arizona Wildcats.  I'm sure Stroke can attest to his accomplishments there.

Also, Parade All American and 5 star DB Lamarcus Joyner of St. Thomas Aquinas committed to FSU.

And who was it that said FSU is getting killed in recruiting??  Oh wait, here it is:

Also FSU is getting killed in recruiting.

Man, I'm getting excited thinking about what this defense will be like in a couple years.

I said it and it will be the truth. Dude, joyner was always a Seminole lean. Joyner is 5'7 160lbs, good player who's best served on the offensive side of the ball. Joyner looked real good last night when he fumbled 3 tmes last night against Brandenton Manatee.

I'm going to tell you this Urban Meyer is on the verge of closing with the best class in gator history. Were turning down 5* guys, that's  how loaded our board is right now. The shockwaves will be felt from gainesville to southern california, Pete Carrol's neck of the woods.

Ohh BTW  Jeff Luc was never a gator committ. He was a slight gator lean because of his relationship with charlie strong. Trust me when i tell you when NSD is over the GATORS will have the top class by far. In fact are class maybe finshed before NSD.

Bullshit you're turning down 5 star players.  Supposedly your only five star recruit just de-commited and decided he wanted to wear Garnet and Gold..... and Urban Meyer's flipflopping played a big part in that decision

Stoops is a damned good coach, and will definitely be a good fit as FSU's new DC.

Thanks for coming forward Stroke.  Funny thing is, they have another guy ready to step in just in case Stoops gets a head coaching job somewhere.  Greg Hudson, the defensive coordinator at ECU (and another stud as well), took a step backward and will be FSU's new linebackers coach.

From what I've heard from my Tallahassee media sources, Hudson got a $100,000 raise and will be automatically promoted to defensive coordinator if Stoops leaves.  If Stoops brings the defense back to its 90's dominance, he will be one of the hottest college head coaching prospects in the country.
