I think that Miami will win this game. The game that scares me is Houston.

Tennessee is like my second team. I like Jeff Fisher as a person so I watch them when I'm not watching Miami. Laugh if you want to but Tennessee IS A PLAYOFF caliber team that got off to a horrid start and should have inserted Vince Young in by the third game. The decision to insert Young into the lineup per Bud Adams request after an 0-6 start might cost Jeff Fisher his job.

Here's why I think Miami will win...

1. The Dolphins have been playing more of a 4-3 and you need all the bodies that you can against Chris Johnson. To me, the guy is better than Adrian Peterson. If Miami plays a 4-3, they can handle the Titans. Chris Johnson is dangerous running off tackle, especially to the right side where Randy Starks lines up. You have to make Johnson go back to the middle and cut the edges off.

fat boy Lendale "Lunchmeat" White is not a factor.

2. The only matchup problem is Kevin Mawae against Channing Crowder. If Mawae gave Zach Thomas fits when he was with the Jets, imagine what he will do to Crowder.

3. Randy Starks is out to prove that Tennessee shouldn't have let him walk.

4. The Dolphins have been resting Joey Porter and Jason Taylor so that they are more fresher come game time by having them practice around Thursday or Friday. This makes sense. Since Porter has not been practicing daily, hes been more active in the run game and rushing the passer. Practice? Practice? This is good because they are vets and its not like that haven't seen stuff before. This gives Wake, Anderson and Torbor more time to practice the actual stuff that they see in the game.

5. On second and short, Miami's got to throw the ball downfield to Ted Ginn Jr to make Cortland Finnegan play honest. Tennessee is going to look to cut off all the short stuff within 10 yards. Ginn needs to get off the line of scrimmage and just run as fast as he can.

6. Hillard has to step up big. He hasn't. It would really help if he chipped in with 75 rushing yards and caught some screens for big gains.

7. If Young doesn't play then the Dolphins really have a chance with Kerry Collins in there. He doesn't run.

8. Vince Young is a junk ball thrower downfield. He likes going long. Collins depends on Bo (can't spell his last name) the tight end. This is why Collins got benched. He didn't trust Tennessee's young receiving corps and held the ball to long and started telegraphing his passes. Vince Young is daring. He'll throw it. Dolphins can get picks if they stay near the Titans receivers.

This was in response to denver_broncos "The Grim Reaper" post. If Miami runs the table, this year will be more impressive than the first year.

This certainly is a winable game if the offense shows up, same can be said for the Texans and Steelers games.  Miami is on an equal footing with all three of these teams at this point in the season, they just have to want it more.  I was skeptical of Sparano when they first brought him in, thought he was just a Tuna lackey, but he really has proven himself and I believe the players respect him.

Nice analysis, ethurst.

I think we can get production out of Hilliard if they give him the ball.  If we get minimal drops from our WRs and a little help from special teams we can pull it off...returns have been weak recently (minus one vs. Pats).  C. Johnson scares the Hell out of me.  How good are the Titans' receivers?

I'm thinking we have a pretty good record against the Titans which gives me hope...couldn't find the exact numbers.

Thank Raptor.  We're 5-2 since the move to Tennessee.

4-1 at home
1-1 at Tennessee
