Well, you got give Henne credit for almost staging a miraculous comeback.

I still say when he is pulled for the Wildcat/Pistol offense, it does something to his flow.

it doesn't make much sense to me when feel that he's good enough to allow him to lead your team 90+ yds down the field, then take him out for P.white for the last 10 yds.  of course he's going to be pissed.   i just wish he was a better qb  like Flacco or Ryan were in their first starting year.   he shows that he still has alot to learn.   he has to learn when to rifle it or when to throw a touch pass.  he has to learn the 7 step drop then throw.

Henne is on the verge of being great, but he forces too many throws and doesn't yet have the touch of a great QB.  His long passes are not as on-target as they could be and throws easy passes too hard sometimes.

Agree 100%. I hope they trade White.

Exactly. The worst was against the Bills when on 1st and Goal they had Ricky throw a pass that was intercepted in the endzone. It's cutesy bullshit like that that drives me insane. Hennig should be fired or reigned in. When you march 80+ yards down the field, that means your plan is working. Why alter it?

We are using White as a QB, whether it's in the pistol or not...why not give him another year to learn like Henne got.  Not saying he is going to replace Henne, but he might be a good asset to the wildcat if he gets more time.

Yes .... that's exactly what will help us ... more Wildcat to replace Henne with.  I hate the Wildcat and I'm even tired of hearing the radio guys say how much we need to keep reducing it.  Outside of some fans who get excited by cute college plays most people appear ready to ditch it for the most part and not try and give it more play time.  When all is said and done I think Henne is less developed (or "retarded"  as Mandich, Rose, and Jimmy Cefalo refer to it) in his progression by being replaced with the Wildcat all the time.

it's a serious weapon when ronnie brown is running it. otherwise it's just a gimmick...

all 185 lbs of pat white doesn't exactly strike any fear into linebackers trying to contain him.

I totally understand where you are coming from, but you still have to think that if White can be relied on to throw the ball his package of plays would become a nightmare for teams to prepare for.  I say give him another year, but next year he better be a passing threat or don't put him in the game.

Pat White needs to bulk up. He's too skinny to be an NFL Quarterback or even a wide receiver.

Henne must wear concrete cleats.  He has no touch on his long ball, and absolutely no ability to scramble for first downs on broken plays.  22 yards rushing in 12 games is an embarrassment.

What are the rushing stats for Marino and Manning?

I don't buy the whole thing about breaking Henne's rhythm.  Henne isn't making mistakes because of the wildcat.  It's from bad decisions.  I understand that it might be frustrating to him and his stats, but I don't think it's anything but an excuse.

You don't think being brought in on 3rd and long all the time (prior to Ronnie's injury) would be detrimental to Henne?
