Since we (Pat's fans) know you have to have something to look forward to all winter the NFL just released the teams the Pat's will be playing next year. By my count 7 playoff teams from this year. My bet is Pats-Lions on Thanksgiving.

With the Patriots solidifying their spot atop the AFC East, their 2010 opponents can now be finalized.

As part of the NFL's rotating schedule format, 14 of the 16 opponents are known in advance. The remaining two are based on where a team finishes, and in 2010, the Patriots will host the AFC South team which finished in the same spot in the standings, while visiting the AFC West team which finished in the same spot in the standings.

So the Patriots will host the Colts, and visit the Chargers.

Home 2010 opponents: Colts, Ravens, Bengals, Packers, Vikings, Bills, Dolphins, Jets
Road 2010 opponents: Chargers, Browns, Steelers, Bears, Lions, Bills, Dolphins, Jets

Its not a cakewalk for your Patriots.  Your boy better shore up that defense or the Colts-Ravens-Bengals-Packers-Vikings will all be losses at home.

The Patriots are on the decline, and all of these teams are just getting better.

Welcome to the boards, prthd1938.

I don't put a lot of thought into the teams for next year, this early.  Teams end up sucking that are supposed to be good, and vice-versa.  Too much changes from year to year in the NFL.

At least he came on to talk about the Pats, but not brag about them and put the Dolphins down in his first post, like Patriots4Life

I didn't take it as smack-talk, but more of a "this is the schedule" type of informative post.

Although, no one cares who the Patriots are going to lose to next season.

I really don't get the point of this thread. 

Dolphin fans should be looking forward to next years draft and figuring out who the Fins will play next year as the fish are fried and done for the season.

Patriots still have reason to be thinking about THIS YEAR, who cares about next years schedule, I am more interested in knowing who the Pats will be hosting for the first playoff game.
