I got a Toronto Maple leaf Jersey awhile ago, and looks like the guy i got, Matt Stajan, might not be with the team next year, wasn't too great of an idea to spend 169 dollars on him, Phil Kessel is seeming like a much better option.

Should have used my head when picking a jersey,

why can't you remove the numbers yourself?  go to the craft section of Walmart and buy a seam ripper and use it to rip the threads that hold the numbers on and then just clean it up. 

heh - this may be bad advice...

I always buy my NHL and MLB jerseys without name and number since players move around so much.

^ same here.  NFL jerseys look stupid w/out numbers on them but I have blank Blues and Cardinals jerseys.

Easy fix, you just need to find a seamstress in your area.  Don't try to take the numbers off yourself.

Sounds like a good idea.  Then get some names and numbers plus some velcro........
