For once, I love what Mel Kiper has to say.  I hope this comes true.

Regardless, we'll probably draft McClain and he'll end up being a bum.

No, no, no...and no. Grin

In a different thread, I even predicted that once Miami drafts McClain, he will lead all rookies in tackles, and be one of the main candidates for D-ROY.

No bum in this guy...guaranteed.

I have to say, I think Omar Kelly's Blog, fits perfectly here...He talks about the Trifecta tends to go hard after a couple postiions hard in the draft, and drafts in pairs...2 CBS,2WRs...etc,etc,etc...

Hmm could McClain be the guy that I made the outragous pick about on TDMMC Sat night? (about the rookie LB)   Smiley

Link to Omars Blog to read what I was saying....

That scares me if Kyper likes him....

i dunno, i see nose tackle and outside linebacker as being bigger priorities than ilb. im hoping they try and trade back a few spots, pick up an extra pick and get brandon graham.

or hell, just draft graham at 12 if they can't get out of the pick.

My only thoughts on ILB/OLB/DE/DT in this draft is that ILB seems to be very top-heavy. There are a couple of really good ones, but then a pretty big drop-off. OLB/DE and DT are all depth positions in this draft, so I'd have no problem with going for McClain in rd 1, then filling the other need areas in our front seven afterward. I think you get the most overall talent that way.
