The Jets have Acquired CB Antonio Cromartie from the chargers for a conditional 3rd round pick

ESPN is reporting it's a 2011 rd rounder that could turn into a 2nd round pick...

Excellent move by the jets. I've always been a cromartie fan. This move easily gives the jets the top CB duo in the division, and maybe in the conference. I'm pissed Dallas didn't trade tashard choice for him. Great move for the jets.

The Jets are making all the right moves. Hopefully, Cromartie gets inspired playing across from Revis.

I've said it before. at this point, the Jets have more talent than Miami and can win the division next year.

Hopefully he gets inspired?  Hopefully he busts and becomes one of the worst cbs in the league.  HE'S A STINKING FILTHY JET NOW!

Exactly...I hope he runs into a stripper named Molly Mouse with a snatch full of toxic cheese and is never heard from again.

I said it all last preseason that folks shouldn't take the Jets too lightly...too much damned talent along both lines. Then they drafted my QB (Sanchez) and one of my fave RBs in the draft class (Greene), and I knew it meant trouble.

If Miami can swing a deal for Brandon Marshall, we could possibly be looking at a Jets-Dolphins AFC Title Game.

THEY have a Starting QB. A Franchise player to really build on. AFC championship in his rookie year!!  Com'on........ Cry

I want Chad Henne to be that dude, but he hasn't shown it yet.

*hijack but semi-related since it's relevant to the QB position at least*

Well, while I know it's still a rarity regardless, Joe Flacco did this his rookie season also (and in more impressive fashion, I thought, because he wasn't throwing picks all over the place in the middle of the season like "The Sanchise", though I'm not gonna look up the stats), and look how he did last season.  While the Ravens were tough, no doubt, it certainly wasn't any thanks to Flacco down the stretch.

So, we'll have to wait and see on this one.  While the things Sanchez did impressed me down the stretch (I can't lie on that one), most of his middle of the season was flat-out terrible.  I'm hoping for more of the same next season.   Cheesy

I want to see rex Ryan fall on his fat face so badly.  I didn't think I could ever hate the Jets anymore then I already did. Rex has brought that to a new level for me.
