I'm very happy the Dolphins haven't jumped into free agency with both feet.  I look at the free agents out there and I'm not impressed.  If Miami is to spend heavily on new players, these players have to be clear, long-term upgrades over their predecessors.  I don't see many pass rushing OLBs out there.  I don't see any great safeties, either.  There are certainly no wideouts I want free and clear, and I don't necesarily want to give up the # 12 pick for Brandon Marshall.  The Dolphins are taking a cautious, measured approach, and I like this.  No time to panic.

Now, would I have tried to pry Anquan Boldin away from the Cards?  Maybe, though he's not exactly what I want (size, speed-wise).

well a little veteran leadership cant hurt!! I thought sharper was done a few yrs. ago when he left home. Alas he has great anticipation and would b a good fit. we need a receiver nothing else is as glaring or as important in todays game as far as the fins are concerned. Get over terrible Teddy and get 1 early nobody on roster should b starting. I luv bess & hartline will b okay but a playmaker is the only way this team takes the next step. U cant get by w/ just attitude&toughness at w.r. tate can b steve smithish (the old 1) great hands &timing!!
