Thats all we would fucking need to deal with. A deep threat with Sanchez and a 3rd down back of his caliber . We had better shore up our D line.  Indifferent

(minor edit to subject...and can't believe I let the word "shit" go in the subject line for that long without changing it)

I'm not scared of LT.  Even if he's not dried up, he's got only a couple of years left and won't be a long term threat.

I worry way more about Shonn Greene and Mark Sanchez of the Jets hurting us than LT at this point.

LT is still a serviceable back.  But he is no longer a serious threat.

I think LT was a bit of a scape goat for an O-line that isn't run blocking like it used to in San Diego.  Marty Ball is over there and it shows.

I probably watched 3 Chargers games last year and he looked good in each of them except for the fact that his line couldn't open even a sliver of a run hole.  Not to mention the numerous times he was hit the instant he touched the ball.

I am not saying he is able to carry the load like he used to, but I definitely think he is better than he is being given credit for.

They use him correctly and not as an everydown back , He's gonna be a HUGE PITA to account for.

Reports today said LT went back home with no deal, at least not yet.

I have abad feeling about this.  We had better get a good Nose Tackle.  Undecided

Yep, two year deal.  We're going to find out just how "washed up" LT really is.

I'm with Defense5499 on this one.  This guy is going to be a massive pain in the rear end.  One thing no one is talking about is how much this improves the Jets red-zone offense.  Like...night and day improvement.  If the Jets used LT for ONLY red-zone trips, opposing defenses are in trouble.

I'd worry if he signed with the Patriots, but not with the Jets.

They are getting a decent long ball game together. LT is not a long term solution , but he can hurt us on 3rd and short. I just don't like it. But I will continue to believe until given a reason not to.
