Does anyone else actually want him in a Dolphins uniform besides Defense?  Just wondering.

ME!  Although my first choice would be a Jets uniform.

No,I'd rather pass on Incognito....It's not Parcells that has to control him,Parcells isn't the coach, Spanrano is.Parcells wants the nice cushy office job,not be the babysitter....They just got rid one mouthy locker room cancer, just to bring in another, that causes penalties on the field... Huh I don't care how it's spun...

One little meeting in his office is all it would take. Look into those steely Blues as he says......boy, do you really want ME telling other Teams that you are not worth a fuck? Because thats what will happen if you fuck me. This is really your last chance. Then Take him down to Ricky Williams so he can teach him how to meditate and control his anger. It will all be good.  Cool

Although I like your optimism about the subject, I'm afraid you have Incognito colored glasses on the subject.  He might be good for depth, but that's it, and I'm not even sure he'd be good for that.

Fair enough. Pay him accordingly and if he accepts Win/Win. Let me say this. I'm not head over heels in love with this guy and saying we should throw a 5 Year multi $$$ contract at him. No Fucking WAY. I'm into bargain shopping gems. Most of them come with a little baggage. Nothing is cheap without a reason.  Wink

But when I think of the Contract Crowder just signed last year that pisses me off. But..... Last time I checked depth level guys were not having dinner with the Coach......... Wink

Looks like he is signing a 1 year deal with the Phins:

http://miamiherald.typepad.com/dolphins_in_depth/2010/03/richie-incognito-agrees-to-1year-deal-with-dolphins.html

1 year deal with incentives if he starts. Bargain money for a guy who can play 3 posistions on an Oline lacking serious depth. He gets stupid,  no loss.  Our Offense just got better. AND MEANER.  Evil

Hopefully he doesn't taint the chemistry well the 'Phins drink from...

I'm not real familar with Incognito's body of work.  Is the guy just a thug or is he actually a good lineman?  Would he provide an upgrade at the position for the Fins?

Over Donald Thomas at RG? Yes, he's an upgrade. Over Justin Smiley at LG? Not even close.

Again, I just hope he doesn't piss on the Miami's locker room cheerios this season.

Thing about Incognito is he has started ALL 47 games he's played in. Not injury prone. In that reguard he's a huge asset , and considering he can play all over the place he makes a nice security Blanket if not a outright starter........for peanuts.  Guy plays to the whistle every play, his problem is that he keeps going after its blown.  Roll Eyes I think its that Midlife crisis time for him to start straightening up. Especially if he wants anything more then a 1 yr contract ever again.

yeah, we have the structure and the big dogs in the front office (tony, tuna) to keep him in line.

he's a very good player, he's just a little nutso ala turley.  reading some of the quotes frm from the articles, he seems to know he screwed up and have genuine remorse.  we will see whether or not it's hot air.

With this signing I change my 2010 AFCE predictions from: Pats, Jets, Fins, Bills to Pats, Jets, Bills, Fins.

You will be able to draft his replacement with a top 5 pick in the 2011 draft.

If you keep this sort of "Miami is screwed now" post in the anti-Fins section, you'll likely inspire far fewer "Patriots can kiss my stink-dot" responses...

And the "top-5 draft pick" line is the poster child for goofiness in written form.

If Your against him I KNOW it was a good move now. Go crawl back to the Bastun watering hole and get drunk dreaming about what could have been had they won only 1 more game that season, just played 1 more complete quarter of football. So close................Maybe a decent backup Olineman could have changed things huh?   How about that Go for it on 4th down incident?  Maybe an O lineman with a little attitude could have changed that out come ? . Grin Cheesy Cheesy
