this also was the way of my youth, and i was born in 83.  i've seen the evolution of the hat styles firsthand, becausemost of my generation has forgotten their roots and all think they're black now.

I to this day still try and acquire the perfect bend in my bill.
I think backward hats are more geared to the younger crowd. Once you get into your 30's and later, some fashion statements are not as cool as they were before. This applies to both men and women.

I am on board with the perfect bill blend.  Certain hats don't accommodate a good bend, and I want nothing to do with them.
