with Dallas cutting Ken Hamlin.....should Miami entertain the thought of bringing him in?  IMO He could fill the FS void for a few years until a certain draft prospect comes along down the road.

if the price is right, why not?  Hamlin and Bell would be pretty nice I think.  Plus the obvious Parcells/Dallas connections....

I would say that we probably shouldn't.  Are our safeties so bad that we're upgrading by picking up Dallas' early cuts?

Living in Dallas, I see the Cowboys a lot and that is about all they talk about on sports radio here.  The consensus on Hamlin is that the Cowboys were happy to part ways with him.  He had 1 interception over 2 years and QBs threw his way a lot so it wasn't as if he wasn't getting chances.  Plus, safety may be one of the deepest positions in the draft this year.  If the Fins are inclined, they should be able to pick up a quality safety in the 3rd or even 4th round of the draft.  Of course the draft is always a crapshoot, but I don't think Hamlin is the answer to the Fins needs at that position.  Just my opinion.
