I would pick RB.  You may have a chance to score, since so much of it relies on blocking, and while you will definitely get hit, it's unlikely that you'll get into the open field enough to get completely crushed.

QB...no doubt about it. I want to call the audibles at the line, gesticulate wildly ala Peyton Manning, then drop back, dance a bit in the pocket and zip a laser beam spiral 30 yards downfield.

Head coach. My days of even dreaming of being an NFL player are gone so I want to be the guy in charge.

FG holder.

It is the only position I have a shot at successfully completing and the only one where I might make it off the field without a serous injury.

Wideout.  That was my scout team position in HS

I was a kicker as well, but you can't play a series at that position

LB....I want to hit someone.....I bet that is a rush to hit another monster head on at full speed wearing a little bit of prtective gear. That is probably all I would be needing to is one play....one hit to make me say "what the fuck was I thinking"!!!

OLB...it's what I enjoyed playing most in highschool although I played ILB, DE and DT, so pretty much anything not in the secondary would be cool.

Why do I have to choose just one?

Fine.  Left Tackle.

Play one: Fumblerooski.  I get to run with the football and gain 3 yards.
Play two: Tackle Elligible.  I run an out and gain 10 yards for the first down.
Play three: Playaction pass.  I get to block the DE but get penalized 15 yards for karate-chopping my opponent in the head (I've been penalized for this in games before).
Play four: My personal favorite.  Heavy Right 16 Counter.  The play that made the hogs famous.  I get to go through the hole and take on a linebacker one on one.  We both knock each other silly.  Back scores a touchdown.
Play five:  XP attempt.  I get to longsnap.

WR. And I'll wear 85 or 83 in honor of the two greats we had.  Grin

Punter and I hope like hell the team scores a touchdown on the series I am playing.  Have you SEEN the players these days?

yes this is the correct answer. I couldn't imagine how much pain playing oline or dline would be. within 1 second of the snap you would be on the ground and getting crushed and/or stepped on.

^^I would love to see Dave trying to run between the tackles, though!
