Chime in here on who you predict the Dolphins will select at #12 overall tonight...

I'm sticking with my earliest call on this one and expect Miami to select:

NT Dan Williams, Tennessee

I think the depth at NT will cause Dan to slide to Miami at #12, and I think we'd be insane not to pick him to anchor the middle of our D-line for the next 5-6 years.

I am fairly confident it will be an OLB.  Probably Kindle, but I am not sure that he is their top rated OLB.

It is sort of a shame too.  I would rather get a rare talent with the 12th overall pick and I don't see any of the outside linebackers as rare talents.  I see Earl Thomas and CJ Spiller as rare talents.

^^^ Drop a name on us for a prediction, Doc...not so much a list of players who could possibly go there.

I agree with Stroke that it probably will be Dan Williams, but just to be different, I'll pick...

I agree on Williams. If it isn't him, look for a trade down. ESPN is reporting the Eagles are looking to swap with Miami, but they are balking at giving up the #37 pick they got for McNabb.

Sorry if I wasn't clear.  I am predicting Kindle.  I guess my few extra thoughts distracted from what I am thinking will likely happen.

I want Weatherspoon,He doesn't fit our requirements, and I think I have a better chance of digging to China. I'm concerned that that we only have 1 Dansby,to cover D.Keller, and L.Tomlinson.

My Prediction is, Sergio Kindle, but not at 12.... Someone will be taken a little higher than everyone thought ,letting someone else slide a bit...(As Tenshot Eluded to in my question lastnight, Dan Williams might not being there at 12)...

Jason Pierre-Paul, because of his athletic ability and a need for DE.

I think that Williams will be gone by our pick, otherwise it'd be him.

I think a trade down will happen, and the pick will be Kindle.

The dolphins will select Dez Bryant.

The Dolphins are going though a big organizational face lift - getting rid of these bums like Taylor and Porter and Ted Ginn. The brought in Marshall and will look to have a serious 1-2 punch down the field with a guy like Dez Bryant. They are changing the look and style of their offense, realizing that Ronnie Brown and Ricky and the whole wildcat package alone can't win squat in this league.

Dez Bryant is the guy.

^^Do we get Dez's whole family, or just Dez?  'Cuz that could be a deal breaker.

Dez seems more like a posse guy than a family man.  Maybe we would also be drafting his posse; I would take that over Ginn's family any day.

I am predicting Kindle.

PLEASE don't let it be Kindle. I'm really worried about his stats being inflated by playing opposite Orakpo. When he started seeing double teams, his sack rate fell 50%. Looking at tape, he seems to have good strength, explosiveness and speed -- but doesn't seem to change direction fast enough and his balance looks a bit off at times. This is backed up by his combine short shuttle where his was slower than any "top" pass rusher in recent memory.

My prediction is Dan Williams, but that's more hope than anything else. If they do go de/olb, I'd prefer Morgan. Not liking the idea of JPP or Kindle.

There's a rumor the Eagles want to trade up to grab Earl Thomas. If it gets us out of the way of JPP and Kindle, I'd be fine with that. (I'd also be fine with actually picking Earl Thomas).

S Earl Thomas, Texas  He would be a great pick for the Phins at #12.  Kid is only 20 years old, and already has a nose for the ball!
