NFL trival what do these four men have in common?

Bill Belichick as a headcoach
Tony Dungy  as a headcoach
Mort Anderson
Brett Favre

These four have done something nobody else had done (at least I think they are the only 4).

What have they done?

Well - I'm pretty sure that they are not the only 4 (there are probably several others), but these four men have "Going to the Super Bowl with their 2nd team (chronologically)" in common.

Follow the logic and you'll get what I mean:

Brett Favre's 1st team: Atlanta
Super Bowl: Green Bay (2nd team)

Mort Anderson's 1st team: New Orelans
Super Bowl: Atlanta (2nd team)

Bill Belichick 1st head coach team: Cleveland
Super Bowl: Patriots (2nd team)

Tony Dungy 1st head coach team: Tampa Bay
Super Bowl: Indy (2nd team)

^^^ that is not what I had in mind, and you are right there are probably others -- Eli Manning comes to mind, although he was on the Chargers for even less time than BB was head coach of the Jets.

I have no idea, but since Eli never signed in San Diego does he count as being on the team? I would say he needs to sign a contract first.

You're probably right.

3 hints for the trivia.

1. Mort achieved this milestone first.
2. Belichick and Dungy achieved this milestone on the same day.
3. Farve would never have achieved this milestone as a Packer and didn't have a chance when he was on the Jets.

Beat all 32 teams?

Favre did it when he beat the Pack last year and I know Dungy was the first HC to do it. I'm assuming Mort is Morten Andersen, the kicker, and while I don't know for sure if he did, it seems likely considering his long (and successful) career with multiple teams. Belichick could have done it as well, considering the success the Pats have had under him -- and he did win quite a few games as HC of the Browns (although with a sub .500 record). The Browns and Patriots are both AFC teams, of course, but considering the number of seasons he's been a HC, he could've beat all 32 (he did at least beat the Patriots).

I'd like to point out that I was slow typing my guess and didn't see Hoodie's hints until after I had posted :p

Fyo is correct.

While Dungy was the first.  Both BB and TD did it on the same day.  Colts had a 1 pm game, Patriots had a 4 pm game.  On that same day Brady and Manning joined the ranks of having beaten all 31 teams not their own. BB's first win as a HC was against the Patriots.

Can a kicker be considered to "beating" all 32 NFL teams? A head coach and a QB, yeah...but a kicker?

I would say any player that was active for game day and played at least one down could be considered on the winning side.

Kicker's aren't the most important players on the team, but hardly the LEAST important either.

That said, I'm with Hoodie, any player "on the team" counts.

I was checking on something else and just realized with a win over the Texans, Steelers and Dolphins (and the Jets play all three this year) as certain defensive end could be joining their ranks.

I want this "certain defensive end" to have beaten everyone except the Dolphins and then the media and game-day announcers to talk about it to no end when the Jets play the Dolphins, and for the Jets to be successful.

Can't happen that way.  At least not this year.  Both Dolphin games are before the Steelers.  Dolphins could win both games this year, Jets beat Steelers and Texans and then it happen next year.

Kerry Collins would have achieved the feat if he had beaten the fish this year
