Not sure what else to say. It's all over the media, which some would argue was the whole point.

Anyway, he's back. Huge surprise, I know.

I was pissed that they canceled Around the Horn and PTI for a special that involved showing the same 5 second clip of him getting out of a car, shot from a helicopter.

Wow, I actually am surprised.  There's a good 3 weeks of training camp left, I figured he'd at least drag it out another 2 weeks.

Actually "camp" is over.

What most teams do is up until the first pre-season game is go to a college campus, the players live in the dorms sharing a room with a teammate, eat in the cafe and basically spend 24 hours a day with their teammates.

After the first pre-season game they revert to their normal practice facility and the players come in in the morning and leave in the afternoon, having dinner with their families and sleeping in their own bed.

I can understand why a 40 year old would want to skip the college dorm part.

Miami's full time facility is located on a college campus but the players stay in a hotel. I don't think they go home unitil after the last preseason game.

The timing this year is 1 day off from last year. Both times, Favre apparently had to be dragged out of his house, onto a private plane and chauffeured to the team facilities by a player/coach.
