With 12:44 left in the 3rd, Brett Favre just broke the record for most career fumbles.

I believe he now owns every record, and can retire in peace.

Favre is a dick. I am glad he is playing like shit. I feel bad for Min fans and Peterson. Min fucked up not picking up a QB in the off season, knowing Favre was going to do what he does. Childress needs to get fired also. He's a tool.

Not so fast.  He is closing in on Elway's record.

What? I didn't see this amidst all the hoopla about his 500th TD Wink

Before people start commenting on my remark (without picking up on the sarcasm), Brian and I were texting during the game about how ESPN just kind of glossed over this stat...

If you're gonna have a special graphic, balloons dropping from the sky, and skywriters over the stadium for the 500th TD, you should have equal hoopla for breaking an all-time NFL record.

Just sayin'

For some odd reason, only "good" things are celebrated. Do you open a bottle of fine champagne and celebrate whenever someone dies? No? Well, by your logic, you should...

Well... not a bottle of champagne.  But I have been to an Irish wake that was more of a party than a few weddings I have been too.

Also this was an away game.  If I was the guy working the teleprompter/video board at Giants stadium, I would have glossed over the 500 TD and been making a huge deal of Moon's record being broken.

Wins?  I thought he had that.

Did Favre already get the sacks record?

Damn it.

I hope, against all possible odds, that Favre gets sacked exactly 4 more times this season and finally retires.  Then, the best irony ever:

Favre would hold the record of "most sacked QB" by 1... the one that he laid down for when Strahan set the record for most sacks in a season.

That was one of the most disgusting plays I've ever seen it my life.  It made me so mad.

i recall that Peyton had called Tom when broke the TD record to congradulate him, but rice snubbed moss and quite a bit was made of rice's snub.

I wonder if on the same token, if Moon called Favre after the game?

Be cool if once Favre was one away if Elway and Strahan went to the next game so after the game they could come out onto the field and congradulate him in person.

He is at 517.  And there is talk he might not play vs NE.

Looks like Dave Krieg's record is safe for now.
