Which record does Krieg have?

Total yards lost to sacks.

Nope.  Elway had the total number of sacks which, Brett just broke.

Total yards....

1. Dave Krieg  3,794
2. John Elway  3,785
3. Randall Cunningham  3,537
4. Brett Favre 3,445

No way Favre touches that.  He'd have to play for many more years.

Not "many" but won't break it this year.  His "best" was 247 yards (last year).  He is on pace for 259 this year.  He should pass Cunningham this year.  And could take this record next year.  (assuming he is still playing and there is no lockout)

I'm too lazy this morning to look it up, but as someone who sat in the Kingdome and watched Dave Krieg a lot during his career, I'll bet he was way up on the "most career fumbles by QB" list as well... Krieg dropping back, getting sacked and coughing up the ball was a sickeningly regular occurrence.

153 career fumbles, placing him second third, behind only Favre at 164 and Warren Moon at 161. It should be noted that Favre does have almost 100 games more than Krieg, so in terms of fumbles per game for starting quarterbacks, he's probably way up there.

I don't know if he'll stay in the game long enough to get sacked 4 times.  It's entirely possible he'll either get pulled late (assuming he plays) or he'll be knocked out of the game.
