The story on CBS Sportsline says he didn't even make the return flight with the team yesterday.

He has considerably more years than is required not to go to the waiver wire.

If you watched his press conference after the game, it is pretty clear what team his agent is calling first.

All the more reason on what team I am guessing will be his next home.

^^^ Yeah, but do the 49ers really need him? I think we've pretty much got the Super Bowl locked up already.

If the Pats do resign him, this could go down as the greatest trade steal of all times.  Vikings get Moss for three games, Patriots get a third round pick.

Thanks, Vikings, for giving the Patriots a free 3rd round pick for nothing.

Why wouldn't they sign him.  He was traded b/c he wanted to be traded and was unhappy in his limited role as a decoy.  If he is willing to come back and happily play decoy, why not take him back?

I think that there should some sort of rule that says that if a team trades a player away and receive a draft pick in exchange...and then the player gets cut/waived and ends up back on his original team, they should have to give back the draft pick that team originally received for the player.
