so, let's see, the dolphins have like 100 field goals in the past few games when they get in the red zone, and folks don't think moss could help out?

bess is great, and hartline is ok, but come on guys, with moss and marshall inside the red zone the fins are scoring touchdowns. im glad we have a pro bowl kicker but i would like to see much less of him for the rest of the season.

Yes, yes I did. What I didn't see was Moss single-covered even once.
You didn't see him catch any passes either.  Marshall and Bess were double covered most of the game and they both made catches.

To the people who think Moss would be a deep threat:  The Dolphins never throw deep so how would he help?

First off several of those FG's were NOT when Miami got into the red zone.  You have to get there first.

Secondly one of Henne's biggest problems is throwing the touch pass.  Why do you think it is that we don't simply throw the ball up to Marshall everytime we get in the red zone now?  The reason is because Henne isn't very good at it.  Have you seen some of those jump balls that he throws?  Usually doesn't even come close to being caught and more often than not the defender has about as good of shot at it as Marshall.  Just putting Randy Moss out there isn't gonna change that.  If Penny becomes the QB then you might be onto something.

He caught one.

1) Moss is old and slow

2) He is a headache, cancer, and a rotten person. Don't need him anywhere NEAR the Dolphins.

I seem to recall a guy named Dan Marino, who at the start of his career they complained that he threw the ball too hard on short passes, and had no touch.  Somehow he figured it out.  Before you start typing, I KNOW HE'S NO DAN MARINO.

Hey, I'm not knocking Henne, I love the guy.  But he's simply not very good at the touch pass yet.  He's getting better.  I've seen him take a little bit off his fastball every now and then, but there's also a difference between taking a little bit off your fastball and throwing the fade.  The fade is not nearly as easy as everyone thinks.  It's all about timing and arc and knowing your receiver and all of that.  It's a tough throw for a lot of QB's.  Most people think you just simply get a guy like Marshall and throw it up and he comes down with it everytime, well it's not like that.  If it was Marshall would have 2 or 3 more TD's this year.

You're not getting the guy for 3 years.  Is Henne going to develop that pass in the next 9 weeks?

Mort was just on ESPN. Thinks the first 10-12 teams won't touch Moss cause there is no reason too.

Says he would be shocked if Moss fell past St.Louis

Also, little fact to remember. Minny "technically" has cut him yet. The players on the team have been told he is gone. But the paperwork hasn't be filed yet, so Minny could do a 180 here and not let him go.

Don't be so sure.  He comes with a pretty heafty price tag ($) and you only get him for the rest of the year.  I can't see why a team that only has 1 or 2 wins on the season would sign him.

Cincinnati should get him!

Ocho, Owens, Moss on the same team!  Best comedy ever.
