I guess this means the Dolphins didn't even put in a claim for him.  Well, I'm happy.

If Randy Moss torches the Dolphins secondary, then I'll add Jeff Ireland to the list of people I want to see gone.

So far, it's this:

John Bonamego
Bobby Carpenter
Channing Crowder
Richie Incognito
Dan Henning

Icognito? Really? Hmm. I guess I need to pay attention more. I thought he was really good.

Yes son, you do need to pay attention more.  Incognito is getting blown back at the line of scrimmage and not creating holes for Ricky or Ronnie like Justin Smiley used to.  Notice how they rarely run to the left side anymore.

They always have him pull to the right and he's always getting great kick-out blocks and opening lanes. I always hear the commentators say how fast he gets there and always picks up his blocks. Now, granted, I don't review games or watch as intently as some of you guys, but it all seems good to me.

I haven't noticed him much one way or the other. As Cathal states, he does seem to pull block an awful lot (and does a good job of it).

Honestly, I think Berger is the bigger problem. I don't know if he's just being asked to do too much or what, but he seems to struggle at times. (Berger often starts out in a double team and then has to release and make a second level block... not always pretty.)

You may be right about Incognito on the pull blocks.  But the bottom line is this:  Incognito and Berger aren't blowing guys off the line the way Smiley and Grove used to.  And it's hurting the running game.

Also, without a true downfield threat, defenders are stacking the line again.  Moss was that true downfield threat.

I will pay more attention to Icognito on those running plays where he doesn't pull to the right and see how he does. And yeah, I wanted Moss to come here as well, even if he was just a decoy.

Are you kidding?  Are you going to start dogging Brandon Marshall now for not being a "downfield threat?"

Some fans will just never be happy...

I'm not going to dog Brandon Marshall, son.  He might be one of the NFL's top receivers and he's got a lot of abilities, but he's not known for his speed.  Moss is.

Speaking of which, if there's one guy I'd like to see the Dolphins grab in the 2011 draft, it's AJ Green out of Georgia.

Moss is known for playing when he feels like it, having great hands, and being a general pain in the ass.

I wouldn't say he's all that fast.

When we had a fast guy, you guys couldn't wait to get him out of town.

That's because he'd drop whatever came his way.  Wink
