Exactly. What did Crowder say to provoke McClain to act that way. Lord knows Crowder was talking trash ALL WEEK long last week.

Crowder is like the boy who cried wolf.......it has gotten old at this point. You got spit on, deal with it. Stop talking trash and people won't want to spit on you anymore

You remind me of a guy who used to post here who thought it was perfectly fine for players to sucker punch refs. Sorry, but spitting on someone is not OK. (no matter how crappy they are playing, or how much trash talking they are doing)

Little different, comparing spitting on a guy to sucker punching a ref. Come on

Personally, I'd rather get punched than spit on. Both will result in a physical reaction from me, but being spit on would make me angrier than being punched.

Seriously, you guys think it was OK for Crowder to be spit on? Especially considering he is a player on your favorite team. I'm glad I'm not friends with most of you in the real world because it certainly looks like I couldn't count on many of you to have my back if it was needed.

I certainly do not think it was ok to be spit on. Like Frimp said I would also probably rather be punched than spit it. I don't care how much you run your mouth.....they are just words. Spitting is a vile and disgusting action.

Do I think it was OK?

No.

Do I think THAT is what he should be talking about in post-game interviews?

HELL NO.

This is a classic case of deflecting.  Take responsibility.  Quit whining.  Talk about what YOU didn't do well today.  You didn't lose because someone spit on you.  You're here to play football.  Talk about that.  Talk about what you're going to do to be better, not whining about getting spit on.  Its not the first time, and won't be the last.

McClain is a scumbag, but this should not have been a topic of conversation after getting the beating they got on Sunday.

I agree. If  this were Bess or someone who is quiet and a gentlemen on the field, then I would have a problem. But when a CLOWN like Crowder who runs his mouth all the time starts whinning about being spit on, I don't want hear it. He probably brought it onhimself. McClain is in the wrong, ok. But that doesn't mean Crowder eitehr didn't deserve it or didn't bring stuff like this on himself.

Especially if the spitter ran and hid after he spit on you.

You mean when he was saying Mason was "that old guy", but said he was really good a sentence later?  I wouldn't call that trash talk all week.  He's done it in the past, sure, but not really this week.

And no....no one deserves to get spit on.  Someone spits on me, the next thing they spit on me will be their own blood.  That is the ultimate disrespect and deserves an ass whooping everytime...and I'm a relatively peaceful guy too.

Maybe he did talk about those things. You only heard what the media wanted to print, which was the bigger story of him being spit on. I'd talk about it also.

I think it's perfectly acceptable to go to the media to call out a scumbag for spitting in your face.  I hope the NFL reviews the tape and suspends the guy, too.

Don't blame the victim here.

Playing poorly is one thing, but spitting in someone's face goes beyond the game.
