How are you cooking your turkey?

Oven roasted with all the trimmings, of course!  Made the apple pie, pumpkin pie, chocolate chip cookies, oatmeal cookies, cranberry dressing, brined the turkey, started the dressing.

Tomorrow I roast the bird, make the giblets gravy, the dressing (stuffing), sweet potato casserole, and the rolls.

Mom in law is making green bean casserole

I liked it better when a ll I did was show up and eat, but then again, i do enjoy cooking.

Thanks I'm looking on the bright side, smoking the Turkey, I can run in the house,and check the bird every few minutes,I feel bad for the people out frying their turkeys...a little sleet,and freezing rain in the hot oil!

We're deepfrying that bitch using the poor man's king cooker ( Half a metal trashcan, a sterno/propane tank a stick in thermometer and a shitload of oil).  I'm handling the deepfrying, the Mrs. is in charge (or rather her family has to bring) the fixings because we'll be moving soon and I don't have time for all that other shit.

whatever Disney is making us

they actually did a good job 2 years ago when i had to work on thanksgiving.  quality thanksgiving meal all around, as much as you can eat!  very nice!!
