As you may have heard, Jay Feely had a great day yesterday, scoring 25 points (22 consecutive) in ARI's win over DEN.  He's 20/22 (90.9%) for the season.

His replacement, Nick Folk, is 25/34 (73.5%).  Rex Ryan failed to make a competitive offer for Feely because he had an eye on Jason Taylor, and due to the 2010 restrictions placed on the Jets, they could only sign new players if they lost old ones in free agency.

Feely was signed by the Cardinals, and JT signed with the Jets.  NYJ is likely to require some scoring from the kicker coming down the stretch, and Folk has been far from consistent.

Maybe JT baiting the Jets into getting rid of Feely was his last, final gift to the Dolphins?

What's more insane is that JAY FEELY has more TOUCHDOWNS that the Jets in that span.

JT might be their most consistent player on defense this year. You can make a case he is their most consistent playing LB at worse

There was an article in the ESPNNewYork.com in which Taylor was listed as the biggest disappointment of the year, since his production has slipped as of late.

Sad to see, even the great ones do slow down at...gulp...36 (I am 36).

Unless JT actually has a couple of sacks on Sanchez I can't image how he surpassed Ghoston and McVomit for the the biggest disappointment category.

production slipped, he's a back-up player who is on a snap count. What kind of production did ESPN think he was going to have?! Clueless journalism

Disappointment is relative to expectations.  Gholston stopped being a disappointment years ago... now, if they get anything at all out of him, it's considered a huge bonus.
