2010 can suck my ass. Fuck you 2010. That is all.
Absolutely sucked.  Complete waste of 365 days this year.  With one exception, that being Mrs. Fin.

2011 can't be any worse and I'm starting to get more breaks personally and professionally.
2010 was kinda weak, bordering on miserable, for the most part.  I'm glad its over, but I worry that 2011 will be more of the same, and likely worse.

This, this and this.  I thank God every day for my husband and children.  Other than having a great family, 2010 - good riddance to you, you suck.

Other than the whole getting married/honeymoon thing

2010 sucked for me big time. My photography gear got stolen, had to declare bankruptcy, and a bunch of other things.

The only good things that happened were my daughter being born, getting to go to the Phins home opener, and 2 very successful Phinvaders events.

But because of the bankruptcy, I expect 2011 to be much better.

^^

That's a definite. The Chiefs are willing to give us the same seats we had in Oakland and Atlanta...ground level corner, visitors side. Smiley

Is everyone's 2010 bad because of the bad economy?

What happens when you declare bankruptcy?  I'm pretty stable finanically right now because I've had some great jobs, but in a few years, I could be declaring bankruptcy.

I won't be having any kids, that's for sure.

Hope everyone's 2011 is much better.

2010 was financially horrible. Everything to do with finances, including jobs, was messed up last year. It has evertything to do with the economy and the fallout. With that said, I am very appreciative of the fact that my family is healthy and I look forward to a better 2011!!

When you declare bankruptcy, everything goes away, and you start fresh with nothing active on your credit report.

Well it's a little more complicated than that.  First of all there are several different types of Bankruptancy that you can file and each has it's own caveats and the bankruptcy itself will be on your credit report.  It's not wiped clean, in fact it will stay there for 7 years I believe it is and it will be tough to get credit with a bankruptcy showing on your credit report.

It wasn't even so much the economy.  In the part of NY where I was living, you could find two or three jobs and still not make enough for a house and a family.

I'm so glad the Mrs. and I are in NC won't have to work 24/7 and won't be stressed out and can work on making our first baby.
