The other thing about firing Sparano is, if you are going to it, you should not let him coach the final two games.  Get an interim coach and see what he can do.

thanks jimmy, talk of how we're shutting down calvin, now he's taking us to the house.

I never like when commentators/analyst say sh*t like that, it's a kiss of death

Sparano must have given them a great motivation speech at half-time.  Dead man walking.

but odds are you aren't keeping the interim coach or giving him the job, so that doesn't matter

Great defensive game in CHI. I think rex and those foot-fetish videos may be distracting his team (oh, his wife does have nice feet though)

can we please draft or acquire a DEF back that has some hands to intercept the ball?!?!?  sean smith would be an ALL-PRO if he could have held onto the ball this year.

now Joe Rose is praising Dan Henning with staying with the Wild Cat.  joe give it a rest, those playcalling has cost us more this year than not.  Henning is also Dead Man Walking.

I'd like us to go down the field now and put 3-7 pts on the board and make it difficult for DET to make a comeback.

now, that's a wish, reality will set in a minute.............(corssing-fingers it doesn't)

I have questioned the offensive play calling all year.  But in this one instance, I actually agree with the call on 3rd and goal from the 14.   Any pass would have to be in the end zone so the Lion defense would be filling the end zone and an interception there keeps it at a one score game in the 4th quarter.  If it was earlier in the game, I would have thrown it on 3rd down.  But in the 4th quarter and a short field goal makes it a 2-score game, I agree with the conservative run call on 3rd and then kick the field goal.   But the ultra conservative offensive play calling most of the year has completely mystified me.
