that's all you can say.  I mean, you want the Phins to win, you thought they coudl win today, and they carry a 27-17 lead with 7 minutes to go in the game.

total collapse by the team, just not 1 or 2 (though some are more glaring than others), but the WHOLE team.  from the poor tackling, to the bad passes, to the play calling, to the final play where you dump off a 2 yd pass with 27 seconds to go and down by a TD and time runs out.

this organization has become a joke in the league and I believe (hope I guess) that Ross will not stand for this and make some moves in the off-season to correct this CULTURE down here.

that's what it is, a CULTURE of poor decisions, poor player personnel, poor management.  the list is endless.

part of me is glad they lost so they can move on from this and get the wheels in motion to right the ship.

I do KNOW of 3 guys that will NOT be in Aqua and Orange next year, Henne, Henning and the Godfather Sparano.  WRITE IT DOWN.

let's hope that phone calls are being made as we read these posts and the wheels are put in motion.

Two of those three are gone for sure. Ross may elect to keep Henne to see if a better coaching staff could salvage him.

Same here. I'm tired of being seduced into thinking that this team might be any good. Major changes need to happen.

That was perhaps the worst 5 minutes for a QB in the history of the Miami Dolphins. 2 INT, 1 fumble (recovered by us) and then the Brown pass in the middle that made time expire.

We should surgically put Henne's arm onto Pennington's body.

the biggest problem with this regime is they blew it with their first draft. they passed on the franchise qb in ryan, and ended up with a bum henne. that's it, bottom line...

henne is just a terrible qb, and you can't win in this league because of him.

I'm  not saying that Henne is good,  but his offensive line didn't help him today.  He was scrambling all over the place today and Henne is not that type of qb.  They took him out of his confort zone..   I still don't know how Detroit can rush 4 guys repeatedly and sack him.    someone has to be open(miami receivers).  it doesn't add up

At worse Henne is a back-up QB which in this league is tough to find. So Henne should stay.

Ignoconito was starting C, plus there has been alot of moving around on the OL. vernon carey is on IR (he's been consistent for the last couple of yrs at least, even if in body only).  I understand your point, however, Henne showed what he has done all year in pressure packed situations, he's coughed up a big, hairball.

I liked the guy, I thought he had it.  he's got the physical attributes....big, gotan arm, can take a hit, is decently mobile, but yet he's missing something between the ears.

maybe a new OC or coach can come in and retool him, but the odds aren't great.  not imposssible, but there's a lot of work to do.

The day we CUT Jake Groove 6 days before opening day, our running game went down the toliet.

In a year with NO salary cap, we cut  one guy ONLY to save a few bucks. YES, I know nobody picked him up all year. So you can say "well how good was he if nobody else wanted him". There are a lot of factors in that as well. Like maybe he wanted a year to rest up. Or maybe he didn't want to play for the vet minimum. Or maybe he didn't want to move to the city the few teams that offered him. Whatever. don't know, don't care. But we cut him.

And I know one thing, last year we were the #2 ranked rushing team in the NFL or something. top 5 at least but I believe #2. This year we can't run a lick. The ONLY MAIN difference is Jake Groove pretty much.

gotta agree with you MikeO.  Berger was the better C for passing, Grove was rushing.

I think it's time to tear this regime down and start over.  I've always been in favor of bringing in Jim Harbaugh.  Another thought occurred to me after the game, being a former NFL QB, he can develop Chad Henne way better than this regime has.
