I'm a little surprised this hasn't been started...So how was your holiday haul?

Did you get anything good for Christmas,Hanukkah,Kwanzaa?

Coffee maker was nice....and I've used it a bunch

New Hoodie (no pun intended towards our new mod) Embarrassed  Cheesy

Lots of gift cards,as per usual....

Irwin vise grip brand adjustable wrench, big enough to scare the homeless from sleeping behind my garage....It's a crescent wrench that doesn't have the screw,it quicly adjusts by pinching...

Technically My Mom bought my new video card,She gave me the money I used to buy it,as a Christmas gift

^^^ I'd be curious to hear how you like that,I've thought about getting the Lowes Kobolt one like it....Every time I've gotten a "Gadget" wrench they tend to be too big for where I need it...

Here's the one I got....

^^ I've only used it once and it seemed like the socket kept slipping off the bolt I was trying to loosen, maybe I just need to get more used to it, so I'm not quite convinced it's a great tool, but it's pretty cheap and seems well crafted (would do a number on the homeless guy no doubt).  I'm sure I'll use it, just not certain if it's better than just a plain old socket set.  Probably nice for my wife who tends to lose sockets, forget to put them back and so forth.

I thought it would be nice to keep in the truck for emergencies, but getting it to fit in a tight space worried me...

Hmm the the "dog bone", I could get a pair, and they'd look like a pair of spinning maces.... Cheesy

We do this every year.  Here's my loot:

I only got 1 dolphin thing, which was a little pack of small football ornaments for the tree.

I'm not going to list every little thing, but the highlights were:
- a digital camera (now I can play in the photo game, should we ever start it again)
- a SWEET Miami Heat warmup jacket (my favorite of my gifts)
- a Lebron jersey

I got to move to North Carolina with the greatest wife ever.

She was real embarrassed that she didn't get me more presents but I think she shouldn't worry about it cause we can make a new life together first n that's more important.

She also bought me a cell phone not so much that I want to call people but now I can do more pictures of stuff.

^^^ Nice...Honor Harrington goes digital. Grin

I want a Kindle because I am overdue for my "every couple of years" reading of Isaac Asimov's "Foundation" series and Stephen King's "Dark Tower" series, and I'd really like to upgrade from paper to screen for that.

As for what I got for the Holidays...I got a carton of ciga...er...never mind, already did that gag in the other thread.

I really don't do much for the holidays, but I did get a "random gift out of nowhere" that I really like from an old friend who manages an art gallery up in Washington... A limited edition print of a painting called "Dancing Dragons," from a groovy artist named Jody Bergsma.
