I am not sure what not having a 3rd QB has to do with it.  They could play Hoyer all game if they wanted.  Or they could never play offense.  If BB decided that what would be best for the team was to rest the offense and give the defense an extended practice, the Pats could just punt on first down.

I will guess Brady will play at least a half, and will come back in if the Dolphins make it close.

If they punt on first down, it would infuriate me.  I'd never forgive the Patriots for being assholes and making a mockery of my team.
