run blocking is definitely a big issue, but pass protection has been a strength with this o line, except for blitzing situations. it has got better as of late, and is just a matter of getting a cohesive group that is used to playing with each other.
the qb (henne) doesn't help the line out much on blitzes. it is the one position that can see the whole defense when walking everyone up to the line, and can point out a lot of things pre-snap.
henne also does nothing in terms of communicating "hot reads" to his receivers. again, watch good qb's on the walk up to the line. lot's of recognition, and either a tap on the head, pat on the side, some signal to the receiver where the free man is coming to point out a hot read.
