The worst thing that could happen to us now is for Thigpen to play moderately well, so far that we got fooled into thinking he will be an adequate starter next year.  We need to draft a franchise QB.  (Or try to, at least.)

that wasn't that bad of a pass to moore.  I wish henne would do that.  Put some air under the ball and let the receivers make a play.

Like I said, he may not do any better but Henne ain't doing shit. Just his 1st series, maybe he can get into a rhythm or go crazy legs for us..

Eh.  I think he would be an adequate starter next year. rookie qbs should sit the first year anyways.

unfortunately the best qb the dolphins had this year only had one arm. pretty sad state of affairs at the most important position on the team

Can Pennington throw with his left arm ?

Thigpen has been in the league for 4 years.  I think that it's the same kinda thing as Henne -- if he was going to play well, he'd have done it by now.

If we can trade for a Kyle Orton I would be pleased. Start Orton. Draft a QB in rounds 3 or 4.  Henne as our #2.

That is a realistic scenerio for the Fins heading into 2011. Upgrade the RB and O-line. Our defense is young and will improve with experience.

We can be a viable playoff contender if that happens

His stats were good in KC, his w/l wasn't.

And KC wouldn't have given him away for next to nothing. In this league you don't give up on Qb's who can play and just hand them away. Thigpen stinks

His stats were inflated. KC was awful. They were down by a ton of points each week and he was playing agasint prevent and soft zone defenses in games where the outcome was already determined. It was all garbage time where he put up his numbers

You may be right but he only played one game on a short week. His stats in the Bears loss were better than Henne's in the last Jets win.

at this point, henne has a long way to go in order to be a serviceable #2 qb
