Good players play well.  Bad players don't.
Good players find a way to start.  Bad players don't.

If Thigpen were truly better than Henne, don't you think our staff would've figured it out by now?  If he were really a good player, wouldn't KC have held on to him for more than a late pick?

Even today, Thigpen's stats might fool you.  Up 14, the Pats have pulled Brady and will probably loosen their defense.  So, it's entirely possible that Thigpen might show well.  But when the lights are on and it counts, he's failed to do so for his entire career.

Look, I love the Fins and I'd love to be wrong, but everyone knows that the backup QB is the most popular guy in town.  Usually, there's a reason he's on the bench to begin with.
