Seriously, though... Isn't this a promotion? Wouldn't you rather coach the Broncos than the Panthers? At first I thought he'd be a defensive coordinator, but no, he's the new head coach.

In all fairness, he has done pretty well prior to bombing this season, but usually coaches don't get a new gig that quickly after doing SO badly and getting fired.

Went from coaching for maybe the cheapest and worst owner in the league to now maybe one of the better owners in the sport.

Plus in Denver he now has the Elway stamp of approval which goes a long way with that fan base. He has a 2 year honeymoon easily there.
