I'm talking specifically of the Oscar probables.  I'm trying to see as many as I can this year.

Here's what I've seen, so far:
The King's Speech
Inception
True Grit
The Social Network
Black Swan
Toy Story 3
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World
The Kids Are All Right

I still need to see:
The Fighter
127 Hours

When they hit HBO/Showtime, I'll be more than happy to watch some of these movies.  The King's Speech, Black Swan and The Social Network would be at the top of my "gotta see it" list.

Like Frimp, I haven't seen a single one of those movies Sad

Nor have I seen Alice in Wonderland, Iron Man 2, the new Harry Potter, Despicable Me, the new Shrek, How to Train Your Dragon, or Tangled. (Those were the "missing" top-10 grossing 2010 movies according to boxofficemojo.com.)

In fact, looking over the top 50, I've only seen Salt and The Sorcerer's Apprentice.

2010 was not a good movie year for me.

I'm like Stroke. I love the original programming on cable and since I pay for the channels, I'll wait for the movies to come on there.

Add me to the list that hasn't seen any of Dave's list...and actually only one on the list I want to see....Black Swan...The rest look like very shippable (I've not really seen the first 2 the Toy Story films)

On Fyo's list I've seen a couple....Alice in Wonderland,Iron Man 2,the last Shrek,and How to train your Dragon...Alice was about as I expected with Johnny Depp,and Tim Burton....Iron man,a lot like Alice in Wonderland...after you get over the special effects/look of it...I was kind of bored....

Most of them also tend to fit in the over hyped type movies...I hear too much about them,by the time I see them,I'm not impressed....

Buddah, I saw a movie on Netflix (watch instantly) that you'd probably like.  It's called "Exit Through the Gift Shop".  It's a documentary about street art.

I've seen Inception, Tangled, Alice and Iron Man 2.  My vote would go to Iron Man 2, but that's just me.  All of these movies I thought were decent to good and Tangled was better than I had anticipated, I only went to take my grandkids and really enjoyed the movie.  I also like Alice quite a bit, but I'm a Johnny Depp fan.  I think you kinda gotta like him to like that movie.

I almost watched that this weekend but watched The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo instead. (It sucked ass and I wanted my 2.5 hours back.) I'll watch Exit Through the Gift Shop this week.

True...And he fact that I haven't rented any of last movies from Blockbuster could have something to do with that. I watch HBO, Showtime and Starz. To be honest, I'm more excited about the return of Spartacus, Dexter, True Blood, Boardwalk Empire, etc than I am about any movies out right now.

Inception just looked a little hokey to me. I'm interested, but not THAT interested. Plus, I heard them talking about 'Mindcrimes' and as a lifelong Queensryche fan, I'm a little leery of its originality. Not that I think that they ripped off anything from Operation: Mindcrime. I just think they could have come up with a more original term for their feature.

It's not even that I think Exit Through the Gift Shop is such a great film, but it was interesting to learn about that kind of art.  Also, when you're watching a movie made by someone who primarily fucks with people for a living, you don't know if you're getting fucked with.
