Anyone applies who was on the 2010 roster, even if their contract is up.

Your reason can be that they suck, that they eat up too much cap, that their backup is better but not getting playing time, that they're on the road to nowhere, attitude, etc.

Pick someone, and give your reason.

Chad Henne, because he sucks and is quite possibly the ugliest QB in the league. He's not all charm and hunky like Aaron Rodgers, and that probably doesn't help him to some degree.

Channing Crowder.  He's expensive, loud, obnoxious, and allergic to the offense's backfield.  He talks a great game but doesn't back it up.

Plus, upgrading at the MLB position is so far down the list of needs that I feel like if they get around to this it's because they've been able to address their other problems.  A man can dream...

It's hard to say.  I'm happy with most for the most part.  Except for Chad Henne and Crowder.  Despite my displeasure and let-down with Henne this year I still think he'd be a suitable back-up.  I also doubt we'd get any positive out of just dumping him and we couldn't get a herpes sore for him in a trade right now.  I think maybe with some different coaching we may be able to salvage something and develop him into something serviceable.

So I'd say Channing gets my vote.  I don't see any possibilities with him.  Let him go somewhere else and take a spot and eat some cap space on another team for no return.

Another vote for Channing Crowder.  If you are going to be that much of a distractions, you need to be more of an impact player.

^^^ Gotta go with Crowder also, too much of a distraction - not enough benefit.

I gotta say I'm not agreeing with all the hate for Crowder.  The guy may not put numbers in the box scores but the middle of our defense is remarkably softer when he's not in the game.

The guy is a presence.  He's not Zach Thomas.  But he's a serviceable ILB.

If you call serviceable making tackles 4 yards from the line of scrimmage, then I say Tim Dobbins is serviceable too (and cheaper).  Crowder forces no turnovers, makes no impact plays.  We have to pay $4 M a year for that?  39 tackles in 11 games, man.  39!!  For a MLB!!

I'm kinda with Brian.  He's not a superstar, but when he's out, I think you feel it.
